A good way to make space in your wardrobe

Hi, people today I wish to share my experience with making the best out of having very minimal closet space.  I think I make it very clear that I’m a bit of a compulsive shopper.  So you can just imagine the space issues I’m having and the thin line between pack rat behavior and hoarding.  I really hate using the term   but some things I’m just not willing to part with, but on a positive note I donate monthly to Goodwill and the Salvation Army.  Anyhow last year I decided to try the Space Bags advertised on TV.  When they finally delivered the bags the package I choose could pack pillows, stuff animals and small summer clothes for me and my girls.   When finished packing the garments in the first bag and Deflated the air it did not stay deflated.  Plus the way the advertisement had it look I was expecting my things to look as flat.  I didn’t get the same result and as stated before the air didn’t stay out.  To say the least I was very disappoint with the product and contacted the company via email to submit my complaint about the satisfaction of the product.   I fell I may have not been the only person cause now almost 2 years now I looked at the newest version of the space bags and they improved  it , so I took another chance on it.  Well guys I do love the upgraded version.  I took the time and folded all the clothes before placing them in the bags, then once full I deflated the bags and was very satisfied with how flat it was and the compression.  I wanted to pack everything in my drawers.  I would recommend this to anyone who wants to pack up seasonal clothing, shower curtains anything for that matter.

The Target Stores CRASH

So I’m sure ever one has heard that on Tuesday Target online Crashed.  Allegedly fashionistas from all over flooded the site when they heard that a low priced high end fashion line would be sold out of target.  The Missoni Italian fashion house, home linen and accessories.  The rushes of eager shoppers were too much for the servers to handle.  I got a peak at the women apparel and although it wasn't type of fashion, I did manage to find a few items I would consider putting in my wish list.  For now that’s where they have to go due to everything I like being sold out.  Go figure?

As you can see I’m more of an accessories person or key pieces can stand out but it’s easy to cross the line of cute and stylish with all this color and zig zag detailing.

I have found myself looking High and low for the perfect color combination in art work that I can hang in my Bathroom that will accommodate every shower curtain I purchase.  Now just to paint the picture in your mind, my bathroom is in beige, cream color tile and cream Paint.  I would have been totally satisfied with all white but whatever, I love color! Hardly can anyone who knows me personally can say that I wear neutral tones enough for them to even recall one event I had them on.  I would go for a hot pink, purple turquoise before I pick up brown and tan colored shower curtains with matching accessories.  So here I have found a way to incorporate all the color I desire in my art work by using the scrap book paper.  The site I have provided is where I learned how to make it happen.  I hope this helps you as much as it did for me.  I got my supplies from Michaels craft store.  I found some frames I loved at Crate and Barrel on sale.  So shop around and play with the different styles of frames and go for it.

Master Bedroom Wall Decal

 

I have done Wall decals before and I love it. Although I am an Artist and sometimes prefer to draw a freestyle contemporary design on my wall, I didn't feel like it last year so I bought a small wall decal for my corner wall and everyone who visited my apartment asked if I painted it. If you are someone like me who really does not prefer to have pictures or painting hanging off the wall I just paint them or use stencils or decal. The advantages to using decals are that they can be peeled right off. The stencils are painted on and have to be painted over with primer depending on the colors used for the design when you want to remove them.   I hope this was helpful.    Now this topic is something I did with my mom in mind.  She has 3 things she would go broke over, that is Bed Sheets, bathroom linen and window curtain.   If you are into doing a seasonal face lift of your home as I am?  This sight I found to be very informative. This site adds to the knowledge I have already cultivated or was thinking about learning about but never got around to it. Sally Hansen makes these Nail polish press on applications that look really nice on long or short nails.  The application process is very easy and quick.  Any one can do it you don't have to be very handy or steady with your hands to be able to do them.  So far I have tried two and I will try the other fun colors in between doing nails I would like to try. Above you can see the array of styles and colors they come in.  You can get them in most Duane Reade stores, Walgreen's, and other places beauty products are sold.  To me its another way of having professional nails with out the cost and the long wait in the salon.  FIY you may want to invest in a few bottles of OPI top coat to have lasting power.  Pay strong attention to the tip of nail along the nails curve, this is wear it begins to strip first.  Once again I hope this helps you to try some of things things I posted because they are great and I love sharing.  So until next time xoxoxoxox
